Already widely used in the military world, waterproof socks are very successful in the field of leisure activities where they provide comfort that is appreciated in wet conditions

The socks are made of a waterproof, breathable and elastic membrane, sandwiched between two layers of knitted fabrics.

Merino wool lining

Merino wool brings its thermo-regulating effects (warmth in winter, freshness in summer) and anti-odour. Outer knit wicks moisture and dries quickly.

Waterproof, windproof, breathable

They keep your feet completely dry when wet without being submerged for a long time. For example :

• fishing in wading, float-tube or kayak (where they eliminate the unpleasant feeling of a wader taking on a little water)
• in a dry suit for the dinghy or stand up paddle
• in leather sailing boots or deck shoes on a boat
• in shoes when walking in wet grass
• on a bike in the rain (provided that an overtrouser prevents water from going down the sock along the leg)
• on a motorcycle
• on skis or snowboard
• during treks in humid tropical environments, etc.

If in doubt or in case of very wide feet, take the size above to avoid deforming the membrane.

HPA waterproof socks are barely thicker than classic hiking or skiing socks.
